Born and raised in Los Angeles, Alex Kling is an artist and designer. She has a degree in Textile & Apparel Design from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. During her time there she experimented with different materials and mediums, studying a variety of processes such as print and dye, fashion illustration, and weaving, with a concentration in textile design. She spent the early part of her career living in New York working in textile, fashion, and interior design.

Alex continues to explore the endless possibilities of surface design. Her art and patterns are available on wallpaper, textiles, decor, and more.
